I've probably owned over 40 different dedicated units in the last 20 years, I agree that software and a PC are the only way to go but there's something to be said for touching and moving an actual chess piece. Fortunately for me, I'm a chess idiot so the expert strength of a good dedicated unit does me just fine thank you. David
