In an earlier post, where I said that there was only one true WORLD CHESS CHAMPION, some respondents thought that I was taking a easy shot at FIDE World Champion Khalifman. If that was the impression I left, I appologize. Khalifman is a fine & deserving Fide world champion, and I'm sure his games are as worthy of close study as any of the Fide World Champions. The point (and I do have one), is that no one dominates the game (among humans), more than Kasparov does now, and for the last 10 years or so. He is the one BIG GIANT HEAD, among all the human chess players who aspire to take his place on this 3rd rock:) My other point (and I didn't notice too much discussion about that), is that no one commercial chess playing program dominates the field above all others, or for very long (even by slim margins), like this human guy, among his contempories. Nor do I suspect it likely that any commercial playing program ever will. Though, I wouldn't mind being proven wrong about that! Larry T.
