All of the problems that she complains about could arguably have been solved if they switched to the phone early in the match. The phone is really the silver bullet in this situation. After they started messing around with the time controls, I think the match was a joke and nothing would have changed that. But if they had switched to the phone early on, all of that would have been avoided. If you're presented with two options, one of which is known to work great, and the other quite clearly sucks, which would you choose?
