Then I opened a DOS window and renamed it from >.amyrc.txt to .amyrc. > >Best wishes... >Mogens Thanks, I never would have guessed that Dos could do that and Windows couldn't, at first I thought it was because of my trying to rename it from the File Manager, so I tried the Explorer, and still no luck. But the Dos Prompt worked, wow. Now hashtable changes work & Amy knows where my tablebases are! Thanks. Pete
