I believe that the best solution would be for Amir to take his equipment to
wherever the tournament would be held, and at the same time enjoy a Vacation,
specially if the human involve is of the caliber of a Champion. This will avoid
any further technical problems which is usually the case or excuse when a strong
GM can not find a way out.

PS: I hope that the Next challenger would be FIDE Champion Khalifman rate 2675.
