GM Smyslov has forgotten more about chess than most 2600's know about it. In addition, Smyslov's magnificent positional style, and depth of experience more than compensate for any loss of rating. Smyslov's positional style should prove an excellent test for Rebel. I think this should be a wonderful match. Even if Smyslov is 'only' a 2500, nobody has conclusively proven that a single-processor micro is significantly stronger than that at 40/2. I think this is wonderful news, and greatly look forward to this match. Chris
