The following won't really solve your problem, but it may help: Sometimes when I find CCC is too slow, right clicking on a message link, then selecting "Open in New Window" will bring it up faster. I know that sounds retarded, but what the heck, if it works, it is worth the try. Maybe someone can explain this. I can't. Another thing I discovered that you might find useful: Once CCC was having problems and the message links would not appear at all. The "header" information was there so I tried "Filter Messages". I clicked on it and was able to use it to view messages that were not otherwise viewable. Weird. Maybe you can use this to get the messages to come up faster. Doesn't make any sense, but again, if it works... Good luck with this.
