Go up one level in this thread

which brings us back to the main line suggested by crafty:

depth=17 2/32 +2.93 1  Ne5 Rxd4 Qg5 Qc5 Rac1 Bc4 Rxc4 Rxc4 dxc4 Rd8 f4
Rd4 Nxg6 Qxg5 Ne7+ Kf8 fxg5 Rxc4 Kg3

after  1. Ne5 Rxd4 2.Qg5 Qc5 3.Rac1 Bc4 4.Rxc4 Rxc4 5.dxc4 Rd8 6. f4
nothing stops 7.f5

e.g., +11.15  6. ...Rd4 f5 Rh4 fxg6 Rxh3+ Kxh3 Qxa3+ Re3 Qxe3+ Qxe3 fxg6
Nxg6 Kf7 Qg5
even leaving the rook enprise doesn't help

or  6....  Rd4 f5  Qf8 fg6 Qxg6+ Kh8 Nf7+ Qxf7 Qxf7 Rg4 hxg4 hxg4 Qg7#

or   6. ...Rd4 f5 ef5 then  Nxg6 Rg4 Re8+ Qf8 Rxf8+ Kh7 Qxh5#

and if 6. ...Qf8 then 7.Nxg6!!  (mate in 7 ) Rd5 cxd5 Qg7 Ne7+ Kf8 Qxg7+
Ke8 dxe6 fxe6 Qg8+ Kd7 Rd1# <HT>
