How is the bus speed on a Alpha? On a pc, the memory access seems always the bottleneck, is this true on Alpha as well? I think on PC, the table move generation, like you and me are using, is slower than offset method(table lookup is slower than calcuation), do you think this is also true on a Alpha? Thanks, Ren.
