I don't want to pick on the Dutch folks, but for goodness sake, do you guys
have anyone over there capable of (a) running a tournament (b) thinking every-
thing out _before_ the tournament starts;  (c) thinking (really thinking) about
tournament policies, rather than relying on knee-jerk;  (d) think about the
competitors (and I mean _all_ of the competitors)???

The dutch computer chess tournament was a fiasco a couple of years ago, with
crafty clones, etc...  and no one willing to make a stand and say "no way this
happens" even after several participants asked me to email the organizers and
make the same request.

Seems like a chinese fire drill approach to organization, if you know what I
mean by that metaphor...
