The dutch computer chess tournament was a fiasco a couple of years ago, with crafty clones, etc... and no one willing to make a stand and say "no way this happens" even after several participants asked me to email the organizers and make the same request. Seems like a chinese fire drill approach to organization, if you know what I mean by that metaphor...
