(let's see, how can I keep this semi-topical)

Some comparisons between ice hockey and chess:

Finland - Sweden: 2-1   This is about as friendly as Kasparov-Karpov, right?

USA - Slovakia: 1-4   Go figure.

Czech Republic - Latvia: 3-1   Like Kasparov-Short.

Canada - Switzerland: 5-3   Lasker-Schlecter.  (Whew!)

Now Czech Republic plays Canada in a semi-final:  Kasparov-Kramnik.

I feed it all into my computer, and turn on "Analysis" mode, and the result is
...  (to be continued).
