Is the install taking place from within Win95 or under Dos Mode. If it is under dos mode try this. Locate the file called "Exit to Dos" then go into the properties and specify your own Autoexec.bat and Config.sys lines using all your old dos tricks for obtaining more conventional memory. Include lines like the following in the config.sys options: DOS=HIGH DOS=UMB DOS=NOAUTO DEVICE=C:\WIN95\HIMEM.SYS DEVICE=C:\WIN95\EMM386.EXE NOEMS BUFFERSHIGH=10,0 FILESHIGH=60 FCBSHIGH=1,0 LASTDRIVEHIGH=E (whatever your last drive letter is) STACKSHIGH=9,256 Also since you are installing from a cdrom include the config line and autoexec line that will run your cdrom. Hope this helps.
