I've looked at it, I don't like it. It's simply GIFs of 3d pieces on
a 2D board. However easthetics is a rather personal experience, so the
fact that I don't like it doesn't mean much.

Not sure that I agree here. I think a lot of people are very used to
looking at diagrams in books, magazines and papers. Anyway, again I think
this is largely a personal experience. I actually (sadly perhaps) am getting
to the point that I think the regular board is harder to use.
