I've been going to computer chess events for a long time.  I've been to
many events with an audience > 500 people watching and commenting, with
an IM on the stage giving real-time analysis of each game as he walks by
to study what is going on.  It works well.

However *I* am a program author that could not attend.  And could not
find *any* information until others decided to help by using personal
communication devices.  As opposed to Aegon where some games are (gasp)
carried *live*...  and *all* are updated after every round...
