I read it, and I'm not impressed. He basically says "I can use the guest
services, and renew the free trial every four months to get things from ICC
without paying".  This is true, but he may as well stamp his forehead with
"Cheap Bastard".  The lengths some people will go to to save a few bucks.  In
fairness I should try FICS since it sounds pretty good.  But it's one thing to
say you like FICS better than ICC, quite another to say you can glom enough free
stuff off ICC that you don't see why you should pay them, IMHO.
