There is a Pentium-II/300, but it is not the same processor architecture as the P6 (yet) since the large L2 cache of the P6 is not present on the PII, and the off-chip L2 cache of the PII runs at 1/2 the clock speed of the processor while the on-chip L2 cache on the P6 operates at processor speed. second, no, the K6/233 is not close to the PII/300. A K6/200 is almost identical to a P6/200.
