FICS IMO has the worst customer service (or in this case administrators) of all servers. I gave them one request for a computer account and when I didnt get a response I asked an admin, he told me to have patience and wait "in a very bad manner", after 4 weeks i asked again this time to another admin, he dirrectly told me that they are not accepting anymore computer accounts. The First admin told me they are accepting but will take time, the other one said they dont!!. Okay lets say its understandable, but what hurt me most was that in the same week thay allowed new computer accounts like cstal(c) (either the account was cstal or the program was cstal). when i told him (the account holder) how it was possible? he told me that he has "connections"? well what the hell!! after that I didnt know what to do? so i quit. Besides try chess.net they have bettter everything. In peak hours they always have more players than FICS. and have fun, Pavel
