What's so horrible about taking the consequences of what you say and do? I'm convinced that it builds character and improves your argumentational skills fighting for your convictions behind your own name. With a fake identity it's easy to run away and hide somewhere else, but it won't do you any good in the long run. Anonymity and privacy are not the same thing no matter what the context might be.
