Well we all use a constant window, we set to the previous iteration +/- some kludge factor and off we go ..... When we get a new move at ply one, then alpha gets uprated ..... Further what alpha/beta changes do you want ? As we progress through the tree, because the changes are going to coem thick and fast; or do you want the window before each move is expanded at ply one ? And I ask again, why, what are you going to do with the information ? You know that the aspiration window gets set off the previous iteration score; you know the new value of alpha every time the ply one best move gets scored. Why do you want this stuff ?
