You could try using the SSEChess book. I understand that Mint is capable of using it, even though I haven't tried it myself. My SSEChess book is about 1.05Mb, which should be more than sufficient to squash chess patzers like us. Otherwise, just add lines by hand. Best wishes... Mogens
