If any one out there can help me I would greatly appreciate it. I am looking for information on Chinese Poker Chips. These items are intricately carved mother-of-pearl gaming chips which were carved for one person or family. They were probably used in San Francisco or any such place that the Chinese first settled. After the evening's play, the owner would redeem his chips from the house and take them away. I work for a museum and we have received a few of these items. Unfortunately I need more information and cannot find any. Thank you in advance for your help. Karen kaaberle@ucalgary.ca
