At blitz chess, it might play well... assuming you do positional evals
at the first ply of qsearch...

but in general, this will run faster, but play worse, because captures
tend to disrupt a position more than anything else.  IE produce weak
pawns, weak king safety, passed pawns, and other positional things you
would totally overlook...

I'd suggest caution...
