Easy. It happens often that A beats B, B beats C and C beats A. A may
end up with 45%, B with 55% and C with 50%. B may lose to A and still be
XX Elo points stronger than A. We all have seen this happening many
times. Take a look at SSDF's games and lists and you will find it there
too.
