It doesn't matter whether his/her intentions were to win on time, because it has no bearing on the chess game as such. Trying not to lose is a legitimate intention and since he/she knows about the Tiger timeproblem, you could argue that he was trying to win. You and I may find the approach somewhat dubious, but it's within the rules at ICC. Just use increment and avoid the problem. Best wishes... Mogens
