Yep.  Deep Blue also lost to fritz in 1995.  But if you look at what CB
could do tactically, it still has no match except for deep blue and it's
predecessors.  IE how many programs get *every* wac position in 1 second
or less?

It played well.  You might notice it was the *only* program to every win
two back-to-back WCCC events...

Our biggest problem was that the ACM events were our "test bed"  as we
got
to use the machine for that event and pretty much nothing else.  Hard to
be
robust, but we generally managed...
