Go up one level in this thread

I decided to try the wrong colored bishop stuff on Cilkchess with the
Alpha
SMP. I think one of our students at MIT worked specifically on the
bishop vs single rook pawn ending a couple of weeks earlier.

1.) Cilkchess thinks Kd5 wins after 17 ply with 6.71 score. Also Kc5 at
later iterations. At ply 20 the given solution of a4 with a score jump
to 9.34 but it takes 370 seconds to find a4. At later iterations it
changes back to Kc4 with
a score of 11.90 I think this position either has multiple solutions
or there is a bug in cilkchess (which is quite likely!)

2.) We play Bh7 in 7.4 seconds with score of 9.47

3.) I give up after 10 minutes, no solve.

4.) We play h6 immediately 0.1 seconds. But then we switch back to Kf5
for 2 more iterations and then back to h6 for good. However the score
does not indicate that the program has any idea about what is going on.
At iteration 16 we finally start getting happy with a score near zero
and time of 8 seconds.

5.) Cilkchess remains clueless after 7 minutes
