I'm not exactly sure what you want to know.
If you want to use the -b option (EPD in, EPD out) you can do so:

But, those lines that fail, just do not produce any output (currently)
with -b (a future version of Chest will be able to also list the unsolved
cases as EPD-comments or some such).
