Hi Among the top programs I think Shredder has the worst opening book (I do not mean to offend any of the makers of Shredder's book). Just look at the israeli chess league games. You will see that Shredder did not get an advantage in the opening as white or an equality as black. I don't know the book used in London but Shredder 4 book is not as good as the other top rpograms book. The 100 elo points idea does not indicate that Shredder is 100 points stronger than Fritz but that it MIGHT be 100 point stronger than Fritz if Stefan has the support of an organization like Chessbase.
