This will have to be the last generation of chess programs I will ever be buying, as I will not be able to devote much more of my life to chess, and less so, programs (which you need chess knowledge to be able to appreciate). I just wish to express my plea to the programmers to try to push it all in this year, and not to wait for another one or two years! CM says openely about some things "it won't be this time round" (similar to that). My first program was Psion by Lang, as well as Turbo King 2, about 11 years ago. I was intreagued by the phenomina, and used to day dream about it the whole day. I really should have become a programmer! Anyway, I'm hoping that the upcoming generation will be a real taste of what the final perfection will look like, as I have waited 11 years, and must be satisfied with what will be now! I hope to be getting a few programs, so I can see whatever today has to offer. And I will personally be one of the people who will be absolutely delighted about anything esp. relating to knowledge and playing strength, which is not pushed off for another year! And I would like to thank all the programmers for all their work from the past, present and future. S.Taylor
