Anti-virus s/w is good for non-technical users. In 10 years online I've had
three viruses arrive as email attachments. In each case I dumped the email
without running the attachment. One of those emails came from a software
engineer, the other came from an electronics engineer, both of whom should have
known better. The third one came from an academic type who really thought
Happy99 was special. Her I forgave. If you get an attached exe, set it aside and
contact the sender for more info.
