It does not seem to be seeing it's opening book, I've tried starting games with both e4 and d4, and in both cases it starts searching right away. Probably a casualty of running a windows version compiled with cygwin. I have not played any games against it yet. How would I tell it how to find the tablebases? Should I add \"Pepito -EGTB_PATH c:\\tablebse \" /fd=d:\\pepito to the command line in winboard.ini? Same question, but about hashtable sizes. Thanks. Pete
