I do not believe it.

The players of today are better because they learned from playing with computers
and know more theory.

I believe that the opposite is correct.

I believe that Fisher of 1972 is not better than 2700 players of today(assuming
that Fisher knows exactly the same theory, cannot read the books of today and
cannot use computers to help him in preperation).
