I believe that super GM's have good chances to win in open positions but they
have also good chances to loe.

Probably they believed that they have better chances in closed positions so most
of them played for closed positions.

It is not clear that programs will outcalculate GM's because there are cases
when there is a long line that no program can see.

I saw examples for it.
There are combinations of humans that no program can see at tournament time
control.

computers are better in short tactics but the best humans can be better at long
tactics.
