About a year ago I did some comparisons between Elo, Canadian
ratings and USCF ratings. It was crude as I only included rating
comparisons
of the top 20 Canadian and top 20 Americans. Then the Elo difference
from
this data pool was approx. 50-70 points higher for both Canadian and
USCF when compared to ELO. Not sure about the difference when comparing
the next lower rated groupings. 100 points seems too high for this top
group of players.

As a side I found that Canadian and USCF ratings are virtually on
par with each other. Many Canadians have USCF ratings and vice versa.
Also one can compare foreign players Canadian and USCF ratings to see
how the differ.
