I said, "Of course. S------,S------,S------!" Everyone was completely appalled. But my folks (later) good-humoredly took it as an innocent practical joke that some friendly Germans had played on them (Seriously - no sarcasm). Oh well -- to stay on topic -- Schultz (the creator of Peanuts) said he never felt the need for anything stronger than "Good Grief!". My opinion: the word is not beautiful and better avoided, but far worse is the fact that the construction it was used in was ungrammatical! Cheers, Walter
