To the question of Jouni Uski to Nimzo98 and Shredder 2 in BS2830: I´ve tested both programs (and many others) in BS2830. My machine: Pentium II, 300 MHz, 64 MB RAM. The results: 1. Fritz 5.00 (49.152 KB Hashtables): 2.682 2. Nimzo98 (48 MB) : 2.644 3. CM5000/Pilz-configuration (32 MB): 2.602 4. Rebel 9 (60 MB) : 2.595 5. Genius 5/DOS (32 MB) : 2.574 6. Hiarcs 6/WIN-Engine (16 MB : 2.538 7. TASC Base 2.0 (8.192 KB) : 2.536 8. Shredder 2.0 (24/8 MB) : 2.533 9. Hiarcs 6/DOS (64.152 KB) : 2.531 10. Virtual Chess Platinum (49.152KB): 2.529 11. MCP6 (61.440 KB) : 2.492 12. Genius 5/WIN (32.512 KB) : 2.481 13. Nimzo 3.5 Jakarta (62.500 KB) : 2.465 14. Shredder 1.0 (24/16 MB) : 2.458 15. Comet A.81 (52.553 KB) : 2.443 16.
