SEE - the static exchange evaluator can be used to improve upon the usual capture search move ordering or move selection. Option 1) SEE is used instead of usual sort to order losing capture sequences at the bottom of the list, equal sequences above that, and winning sequences at the top? Option 2) Or, instead, should it be used to eliminate losing capture sequences altogether from being searched. Option 1a) Use SEE as in option 1 but also in the full-width search for sorting capture sequences Option 2) Same as option 2 but also in full-width Are there other choises of how to use SEE? Which have proven best? And what kind of a speedup do you see for the various options? Thanks, --Stuart
