You've missed the point.  The GOOD thing about TSCP is that it is doing a
computer intensive task (playing chess) and was not, unlike most other chess
programs, written for speed (i.e. doesn't try to use c orientated tricks to
speed up the app).  This means that unlike Crafty it is MUCH easier to create a
comparable Delphi version.

The idea is to see if there is any real significant difference between Delphi
and 'VC'.  My conclusion is that Delphi is at the most 10% slower than VC for a
task such as chess.
