Yes, this would be a dream come true.
Each program plays under exact same conditions.
I mean, same cpu and ram speed, but with their own prepared book.
Then, superior knowledge base and/or faster engine will determine the true
champion. The champion shall then be allowed to be configured,so as
to best cope with Anands style of play. In my opinion Kasparov
does not deserve to be consisered as challenger. Anand could accept a
challenge from Kramnik, but not for the Crown. If Kasparov or Kramnik
dont want to play by globel rules, then let them join R.Fisher,s club.
It just would not be fair to Shirov,Adams and the others for their efforts to
qualify.
Now its of my chest- I feel a lot better.
I predict, the champion program will win over Anand if its book is properly
proof tested.
Happy New Year!
