Ferret (from what I've seen on ICC, mostly blitz) and Chess Wizard (from the
pgn's played against a very strong program back in 1999) should easily place
among the current top ten, squeezing out some of the well known competitors.
Both deserve full attention and respect, their own GUI's and a good publisher.
Unless I had that, and if in the shoes of the authors, I'd never let them out.

Besides, Ferret is an SMP program... built to last.  My guess is that Frederic
Louguet has been working on SMP too.
