We have no idea if ferret is inferior or superior to the best commercial programs. I do not know about result of Ferret against other programs with equal hardware. I can add that Junior6 is not the best commercial program. Fritz6 is better than Junior6 based on the ssdf list when Deep Fritz is supposed to be better than Fritz6. Uri
