I have heard that next year the PalmOS platform will support the StrongARM
processor, which is also running at 200MHz (maybe it's also inside the iPaq, I
don't remember).

I have Windows on my desktop computer, and I say: enough. One thing for sure: I
certainly don't want Windows on my Palm computer.

I don't want to spend more time configuring, updating and fixing my OS than the
time I am really doing something useful with it.

I don't want an OS that forces me to upgrade to more memory and more processor
speed every year.

I don't want Windows. I want an improved PalmOS. It works, it is very useful, it
does not need a lot of resources. I have a 4Mb PalmIIIx, and only 10% of the
memory is used. I find it fast enough, even if it's only running at 26MHz.

My two rechargeable AAA batteries last for 10 days.

I find the PalmOS computers to be very useful. Not flashy, but I have it with me
all the time and I USE it all the time. It don't have to worry about battery
life. I find thousands of free software on the net.

And I don't have to pay a tax to Microsoft. ;)
