Hi! I would just like to know what computer chess program people think is best for a low rated player to improve his chess with, I.e., which program is best for training, studying and learning from? On a side note, why is it that most programs not include the old DESCRIPTIVE NOTATION? I have many old books (especially Dover books) in my library that only use this notation and it would be easier to follow along a game if I could select this option. Also, I heard that DeKonig's contract is ending soon with Mindscape. Any rumours who might be the next programmer to continue the Chessmaster line? Also, what has happened to W-Chess and M-Chess? Are these programs still being worked on? Any rumours?
