The attackboard I know of is an array of 64 (square index) 32 bit values, where each bit tells what piece attacks (2x16 pieces=32 bits, neat!) each square. They are bitboards but factored in another way from the seemingly prevalent 64 bit boards. This attackboard fits better in an 32 bit architecture. Regards Dan Andersson
