Open your mind. I'm not saying that there are no other drivers for wealth creation - there are other ways of creating value or wealth. You have stated some - they are minor IMHO. e.g. Russia between 1918 and 1989 still had virilant individuals with the same sex drive as those in the west but wealth was NOT created at the same rate. The main driver for wealth creation (again IMHO) is war but that is not a good economic / quality of life policy! Then it's profit. I would also say that wealth creation is not the most important thing in life - that's computer chess obviously ;-) Steve
