I'm having a few problems with these engines under Windows 98 and CM8000: 1. Little Goliath plays fine within the CM8000 GUI. However it leaves an instance running every time I start a new game with it, so that even after I quit CM8000 I have to hit CTRL-ALT-DEL and kill 2 or 3 of them. This doesn't happen under Fritz6, nor does Crafty exhibit this problem. 2. Crafty 17.14 works fine under CM8000, but Crafty 18.01 does not respond. If I look at the Xboard output window, Crafty initially connects and responds to CM8000, but never makes a move. 3. I can't get SOS to respond at all under CM8000 or Fritz6. Has anybody gotten this engine to run successfully with these two programs? Also, where can I find the latest SOS version for download? Thanks!
