But it may be convincing in eliminating an 1. ... hxg5 response from black.

It is just a start as stated and not meant to be a complete analysis. Given the
complexity of the position, it is important to eliminate moves in black's
defense. If the line holds then
1. ...hxg5 is eliminated and one can concentrate on other alternatives
as in the four you provide.

What are Fritz's lines for these other choices?
What was Fritz's evaluation of hxg5?

Of course. Let's try to work on this as a team effort to uncover
why Ng5 is supposed to win.

Does anyone know if the original release of this suite contained the mainline
for the 16 positions?
