Robert mentioned '...reduce the depth an additional ply...', which led me to believe razoring=negative extension. However, looking back at it this was one ply before quiescent search, so reducing depth with one would be equivalent to cutting I guess... Heinz does it a ply 3 though, and he doesn't (necessarily) cut. -- GCP
