Having established a computer account on chess.net (which seems ok), it is obvious that none of the best amateur programs play there, as far as I can tell. Accepts from humans seem rare, which I can understand; and the computers seem not to play computers, plus they are mostly running other people’s software, some of which I can match offline. Before paying for chessclub.com membership, I would be interested in hearing about other’s experience there. My engine (searcher) is not top flight, so less attractive perhaps then crafty, tiger(s) etc. Frank BTW I tried freechess.org, but only briefly and probably never again.
