You can't decide which is the strongest program by running a Swiss tournament without changes from start to finish anyway. Another point would be to careful when comparing human and computer tournaments. I imagine that (even/especially) Kasparov devotes some time to analysis and preparation between rounds, which might be comparable to tweaking an engine, removing a bug or changing a bookline. To sum up my viewpoint. I don't take the "winner" too seriously because of the inherent randomness, but I intend to use some time on the games that are played by my favourite programs.
